The Difference Between My Books

What’s the difference between your books?

Questions I get asked on a regular basis are “If I can only buy one book which of your two cookbooks do you recommend?” “Do your books have meal plans?” “What is the difference between your books?” “Where can I buy your cookbooks?”, etc.

So, let me take a minute and provide you some insight on my two cookbooks.

The Difference Between My Books instantloss.com

Instant Loss Cookbook was my first book. It came out in October of 2018. It has 125 recipes for the Instant Pot, oven, and stove top. After reaching a peak weight of 260 pounds and spending a lifetime struggling with obesity, yo-yo dieting, autoimmune diseases, and chronic fatigue, the beginning of the book details my story and personal journey to lose 125 pounds in one year through diet alone.

There are 50 stunning recipe photographs and it has a three-week meal plan to help you get started.

Instant Loss Eat Real, Lose Weight is my second cookbook. It came out in December 2019. It’s a reflection of a lot of personal growth I’ve experienced in the last two years and all the feedback I received after the first book. There are 125 NEW recipes for the Instant Pot, Air Fryer, stove top, and oven.

The premise for this book was quick and easy so 90% of the recipes can be made in under 30 minutes. It has a focus on meal prep for busy families and substitutions for those with allergies.

There are 120 recipe photos and I dive in deep and focus on the emotional aspect of weight loss with an intuitive plan on how to reach and maintain your healthiest weight. With a three-week meal plan that has Sunday night meal prep, snacks, and a how-to portion guide, I try to give you all the tools you need for success!

There are suggestions on what to eat in every scenario! When you go out, when you’re busy, and when you flat out just don’t feel like cooking.

Both books are gluten-free and dairy optional but are also so very different. My suggestion is always to get BOTH if you can’t decide on just one. I am so blessed to call both of my book babies National Best Sellers! They both have hundreds of positive reviews on Amazon and even more success stories online!

If you’d like to grab a copy of either one of my books you can find both of them at your local bookstore or on Amazon. If you have any questions, leave them below, I’m happy to answer them. 💗

  1. I have the second book and love it. Does the first book have a meal plan in it as well? I do better with a meal plan and a layout of what a week would look like.

    1. Hello Kimberly,
I am so happy to hear that you are enjoying my second cookbook Instant Loss Eat Real, Lose Weight! Yes, my first cookbook Instant Loss Cookbook does in fact have a 30-day meal plan in it.
      Wishing you wellness!

  2. Brittany:

I have both of your books and enjoy your newsletter as well. I am just wondering what your educational background is as everything you do seems very professional and extremely well done. A retired teacher is asking!!

    Thank You!

  3. I am buying your book looks great for me. I will be cooking in a mini instant pot for only one will I be able to adjust your recipes? I think I will reach my weight goal with your help

    1. Hi Connie,
The mini Instant Pot will be great! You can basically just cut all of the recipes in half and it will essentially serve you two to three times per recipe. Maybe don’t write follow the meal plan in my books because thats going to give you way too much food but instead with cutting the recipes in half you will be able to have left overs at least once maybe twice. Wishing you all the best!
