Lightened Up Strawberry Lemonade

This lightened up version of Strawberry Lemonade is a delightfully refreshing summer treat!

Who doesn’t love lemonade?  But adding strawberries to lemonade and still feeling like you’re making a good, healthy decision?  That’s unheard of!  Well, I am here to save the day because I found just the right recipe to fulfill that craving but keep you on track!

Serve this Lightened Up Strawberry Lemonade to your kiddos during the day or with a splash of vodka for the adults after the kids go to bed. When I started losing weight I didn’t want to give up drinking, so I didn’t! I just made better choices regarding my drinking. Instead of wines, and coolers, that were full of mystery ingredients I began making my own nightcaps.

I love that this recipe is simple and only requires a few ingredients. After you gather all of the ingredients you’ll need, you just toss it all in your Vitamix Blender or any other high powered blender and blend on high for 15 seconds. Serve this delicious Lightened Strawberry Lemonade immediately for a tasty treat for people of all ages to enjoy.

Adding strawberries to any recipe is an instant notch up, but this just brings a kick to the lemonade that you didn’t know you needed. This lighter version of lemonade is something that satisfies that adult beverage hankering without derailing your progress.

  1. Hi, U want to make this drink but prefer not to use agave nectar, what other sweetener can I use? Thanks

    1. 100% pure maple syrup, honey, liquid stevia drops to taste, raw organic sugar, coconut palm sugar, whichever sweetener you’d like that fits into you diet preferences. 🙂

  2. I just found this! I am pregnant and so bored of water, but not wanting to compromise on healthy ingredients. So excited to try it! My husband is trying to cut back his wine so this will be perfect for both of us…obviously I’ll be cutting the last ingredient for me, but so nice to be able to share something together.
