The Importance of Keeping a Food Journal- Day 3
This week I’m being intentional about recording everything I eat as I get back on track after the holiday. It will be listed chronologically, with each item (food, drink, or other) appearing in the order it was consumed.
Day 3- Wednesday

BREAKFAST
16oz water
1 hardboiled egg
6 asparagus, cut into thirds, sautéed with garlic, green onions, Swiss chard, and salt.

LUNCH
2 slices turkey breast
carrot sticks, celery sticks, cucumber, and bell peppers dipped in:
Balsamic Vinaigrette (I did not eat all of this)
-1/8 cup Balsamic Vinegar
-1/2 tsp Honey
-1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
-1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
-1 tsp Parsley
-1 tsp Minced Onion
-1/16 Grape Seed Oil
Blended well.
16oz water, with the juice of 1/2 lemon
SNACK
3 tbsp hummus
cucumber sticks
16oz water
DINNER
Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos with Homemade Salsa
