Kid Friendly Green Smoothie
This yummy Kid Friendly Green Smoothie is a great way to sneak greens into your kiddos without the fight!
If you follow me on Instagram you know I love smoothies! I try to do 1 smoothie a day. It helps get in those extra veggies without even thinking about it.
When I first started making smoothies I was so overwhelmed. Spending time searching all over Pinterest at recipes. I swear there are thousands and thousands of recipes out there for every smoothie variation you could imagine. I decided instead of making off of these recipes I was finding online I would attempt to make ones that worked for our family! This was a real game changer for us.
I have found that spinach and kale do not have a really strong taste in smoothies so they became a foundation in almost all of my smoothies. Kale is high in fiber and protein so it is a great way to start your smoothie. Spinach is packed full of vitamins and minerals, such as potassium, magnesium, and vitamins B6, B9 and E.
From there I just started playing around with different combinations of fruits and veggies until I found something my whole family loved! As a mom, you know how hard it is to get your kids to eat “healthy” foods. This is a smoothie that is healthy and your kids will go crazy over.
If you liked this recipe you should try my Blender Muffins! We replaced cereal with these yummy tiny breakfast treats and my kids don’t miss it a bit. I like to make them in massive batches and freeze them so I have them on hand for mornings when I don’t feel like cooking, snacks, and lunches!
Another few other kid friendly breakfast recipes you can try are my Grain Free Waffles and my Almond Pulp Pancakes.

Do you use fresh pineapple?
I usually use frozen but you can use either.
How many grams of sugar? I’m afraid with all the fruit it might be pretty high. I’m just starting out to eat healthy.
You can plug the ingredients into a macro counter or calorie tracking app to find out exactly how many grams of sugar there are in this recipe. 🙂
Hi! I have just found your recipes, I am going to try them all. My 2 year old loved it!
Do you peel the cucumber?
