Antioxidant Ginger Berry Smoothie
This light Antioxidant Ginger Berry Breakfast Smoothie is perfect for the summertime. The ginger and the lemon give it a refreshing kick without overpowering everything else. Made with fruits that are low in fructose, this is a great way to start your morning!
Eating right in the morning can make your entire day. You can choose to eat unhealthy and feel weighed down all day or you can eat something healthy and feel good all day. I love smoothies, and this smoothie makes me feel like a million bucks.
This is a recipe that you can put in your Vitamix making it a super easy recipe to make. I know a lot of people don’t have much time in the morning from getting yourself and the kids ready, to make breakfast. This is the perfect solution.
My kids even enjoy this smoothie every once and a while. I would recommend this to anyone who wants that boost in the morning to get your day started right. This is going to do the trick.
At the end of the day, we are all just trying to do our best and I believe if we are eating right, that’s half the struggle. When you know better, you do better, and this breakfast smoothie is doing things the right way.

Antioxidant Ginger Berry Smoothie
Print RecipeIngredients
- 1.5 cups Water
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
- A 1-in piece of ginger peeled
- 1.5 cups Frozen Berry Blend
- 1/2 Mandarin Orange
- 1-2 cups Spinach Sometimes I throw a little Kale in too
Instructions
- place all ingredients in a high powered blender.
- Blend on high until pureed.

Holy lemon juice! I made the smoothie exactly as stated, but the lemon is overwhelming. I’m not sure I can handle something this acidic and pucker-inducing first thing in the morning. Maybe next time I’ll reduce the lemon juice by half and just do a whole mandarin…
