Having a difficult time trying to figure out what to make for dinner this week? I can help! Have you ever tried going an entire week without animal protein? A few months ago I decided to give it a try, we’re largely pant based but I had never given up animal protein completely.

The results I saw were amazing! I dropped two pounds after the first day! I had already lost the bulk of the weight I had to lose and was getting close to maintenance. After an entire week of eating vegan I was down 5 pounds. I had more energy, I didn’t feel bloated, it was amazing!
My daughter who has chronic inflammation and an auto immune disease, has issue with digestion sometimes. We noticed remarkable improvement in her as well and we made the choice to completely remove red meat from her diet. Her digestive issues have gone away!
Our family has since scaled back on our meat consumption and we try to only eat animal protein with one meal a day. Periodically I still like to weed it out of our diets completely and I’m always impressed by the results! This week I have a special Vegan Meal Plan Monday for you!
