Instant Pot Apple Sauce
There are a lot of different apple sauce recipes out there in Instant Pot world but the thing that makes this one special is that there is no added sugar!

Personally, I find that applesauce doesn’t need extra sugar, apples are sweet enough by themselves. We love to eat our apple sauce with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Enjoy!

I am planning on making this..assume the skin stays on? Thank you.
Yes. I keep it on. 🙂
Hello Brittany,
I made the applesauce and put it in squeezable pouches. How long will it stay fresh in the refrigerator?
Hi Heidi!
Such a great idea, mine usually stays good for a couple weeks in sealed glass mason jars. 🙂
Brittany, when you say “sealed” mason jars do you mean you canned it with a hot water bath or just put lids on the jars.
Just put the lids on. 🙂
Soooo easy and so yummy! With only my daughter and I in the house, this lasts for several meals!
I tried this recipe with apples that we had picked from our local orchard and it was amazing!!! So much easier than my usual method and soooo much quicker! I added a bit of cinnamon because I love how it tastes with apples. Thanks for the recipe!
Instant Pot applesauce is amazing! A wonderful addition to my overnight oatmeal I make for work!
Just made this applesauce tonight its supper delicous and I didn’t even add any cinnamon.
What variety of apples do you use? My daughter makes applesauce weekly for her 9 month old but his big sister (4 1/2) won’t eat it because of the texture (too smooth). Is there a variety that doesn’t break down as much?
I saw a recipe that called for oats to be added for texture. Maybe that would help.
