How to Make Homemade Wet Wipes
The average family spends $75 on disposable wipes a month. I started making our own wipe solution 13 years ago when I had our first baby which means I’ve saved our family over $4500 on wet wipes alone so far.

I use 100% cotton flannel wipes, I made my own with our first three babies out of fabric discard but this time I ordered an inexpensive pack off Amazon.
The wipe solution is simple— jojoba oil or your oil of choice, 100% Castile soap, witch hazel, lavender, and water— I’m using distilled but tap water works too!

I keep the wipes in a wipe warmer because it keeps them nice and moist so I don’t have to make them often. This recipe is for 50 wipes.
Homemade Wet Wipes
What you’ll need:
•1 tablespoons jojoba oil
•1 tablespoon witch hazel
•1 tablespoons 100% Castile soap
•6 drops lavender essential oil
•3 cups distilled or tap water
In the warmer combine jojoba oil, witch hazel, Castile soap, lavender oil, and water.
Add the wipes to the water pressing them down to absorb the water, flipping the entire pile over when the topmost wipe doesn’t immediately absorb all the water.
Continue to press newly added wipes down into the others until the water has been completely absorbed by the wipes and they aren’t soaking wet.
