- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 
- Put oats, chocolate chips, coconut oil, vanilla and salt in a bowl, stir. 
- Place oat mixture in a 9x9 baking dish. 
- 4. Bake for 8 minutes. 
- 5. Add oat mixture back to the bowl (be careful it's hot!). Add almond butter and blended pitted dates. Stir well. 
- 6. Press mixture back into the 9x9 baking dish and place it in the freezer for 20 minutes. 
- 7. Cut and shape into bars. 
- 8. Store in an air tight container in the freezer.
