Purple Power Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 small avocado if you like a thinner consistency leave this out
  • 1/2 large mandarin orange, peeled
  • 1/2 fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 large frozen banana
  • 2 tablespoons collagen peptides

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a high powdered blender, like the Vitamix. Blend on high until smooth.

Notes

Note: This smoothie is very thick. A little yogurt-like consistency-wise. If you prefer a thinner smoothie omit the avocado. The avocado is only in there to get a healthy dose of fat in my kiddos.
