In a pan that fits inside of your Instant Pot for "pot-in-pot" cooking, combine steel cut oats, water, butter, and brown sugar. Cover with lid, or foil if your pan does not have a lid and place on trivot.
Put one cup of water in your Instant Pot. Carefully place your pan and the trivot inside of the pressure cooker.
Place the lid on the pot and make sure the vent valve is in the SEALING position.
Using the display panel select the MANUAL function. Use the +/- buttons until the display reads 14 minutes.
When the time is up open the vent valve to quickly release the pressure.
Serve with a splash of almond milk and diced fresh strawberries. Enjoy!
