Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Put oats, chocolate chips, coconut oil, vanilla and salt in a bowl, stir.
Place oat mixture in a 9x9 baking dish.
4. Bake for 8 minutes.
5. Add oat mixture back to the bowl (be careful it's hot!). Add almond butter and blended pitted dates. Stir well.
6. Press mixture back into the 9x9 baking dish and place it in the freezer for 20 minutes.
7. Cut and shape into bars.
8. Store in an air tight container in the freezer.
