Instant Pot Apple Sauce

There are a lot of different apple sauce recipes out there in Instant Pot world but the thing that makes this one special is that there is no added sugar!

Personally, I find that applesauce doesn’t need extra sugar, apples are sweet enough by themselves. We love to eat our apple sauce with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top. Enjoy!

  1. Hello Brittany,

I made the applesauce and put it in squeezable pouches. How long will it stay fresh in the refrigerator?

      1. Brittany, when you say “sealed” mason jars do you mean you canned it with a hot water bath or just put lids on the jars.

  2. I tried this recipe with apples that we had picked from our local orchard and it was amazing!!! So much easier than my usual method and soooo much quicker! I added a bit of cinnamon because I love how it tastes with apples. Thanks for the recipe!

  3. What variety of apples do you use? My daughter makes applesauce weekly for her 9 month old but his big sister (4 1/2) won’t eat it because of the texture (too smooth). Is there a variety that doesn’t break down as much?
