Instant Pot Turkey Meatballs

These Instant Pot Turkey Meatballs are absolutely delicious! They’re also an absolute breeze to make!

No Instant Pot? No problem! Well, there is a little problem because you’re missing out on a whole lot of awesome if you don’t own an Instant Pot. Don’t fret, this recipe can be made without one! These meatballs are easily made with a regular ole pan on the stove. 🙂 I like making them in my Instant Pot because the walls are high so I get to avoid any oily splatter on my stove. YAY for cleaner cook tops!

Instant Pot Turkey Meatballs instantloss.comIf you make these and let me know what you think in the comments! They’re a quick and easy favorite of mine and my family. We like to have them with Spaghetti Sauce and Squash or tossed in Homemade Barbecue Sauce with a side salad and Homemade Ranch Dressing.

Now I’m just making myself hungry thinking about these.

Meatballs are easy to make and take no time at all. After you have prepared all of your ingredients and mixed them together they can be put into your Instant Pot to start cooking. I use the SAUTE function (high pressure) to preheat my Instant Pot.

Add meatballs one by one until the bottom is covered (you may have to do this more than once). Brown each side, about 2-3 minutes on each side. After the meatballs have browned, I transfer to a paper towel to absorb the remaining oil. I typically serve these tossed in my homemade barbecue sauce!

This is a great recipe to take to get together with your friends and family or on busy nights!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound organic ground turkey
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ground black pepper
  • 1/8 cup Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat your Instant Pot Pressure Cooker using the SAUTE function (high pressure).
  •  In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except for the oil. Don't mix too much you want to preserve as many of the meat bonds as you can. This will ensure that the meatballs keep their shape.
  • Form meatballs (about two tablespoons each). This should make about 16, sprinkle with pepper, set aside.
  • Add oil to your preheated Instant Pot. Add meatballs and brown each side, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  • When the meatballs are browned transfer to a paper towel to absorb the remaining oil. Serve tossed in my homemade barbecue sauce!

Notes

Note: This recipe makes about 16 meatballs.

  4. Is it ok to not have rosemary or thyme ?! I have everything else and am in the mood for some turkey balls!! Thanks 😊

    1. Hello Tasha,
It sounds like you may be using an 8 quart pot and if so you may just need to add some more oil to the pot. Hope that helps! Wishing you all the best!
