Monthly Weight Loss Weigh In {October}

It was bound to happen at some point. In October we traveled, a lot and I got really really lax with my eating. For the first time since January I saw the number on the scale go up, 10 lbs up from my lowest weight.

This is a lifestyle change, it’s not a diet or a 30 day challenge. At no point will I be able to go back to eating the way I did before. The last month is proof of that.

In November I plan to refocus. Lots of water, lots of green, and lots of movement. This lifestyle is 100% maintainable but it is work 💪🏼 and at no point or pounds lost does it mean that I can ever go back to the way I ate before. My goal is to get down to 135 lbs by December 1st. I weighed in at 145 lbs this morning. A lot of that ten pounds is stuff just sitting in my intestines so I plan to eat lots of fiber and drink lots of water to flush my system.

I feel bloated, sluggish, and my clothes are fitting a little snugger around the waist line. I miss feeling light and like my stomach isn’t going to explode. As we enter the holiday season I am more determined than ever to stay on track. October was a nice little reprieve but now it’s time to get back to business.

I am going to post my daily weigh-ins in our Meal Plan Accountability Group to help keep myself accountable while I refocus this month. Weighing every day has always helped keep me on track. I know that the scale is not as much of a positive motivator for everyone but it’s been an excellent tool for me.
