Time Well Spent {PinkBlush Review and Giveaway}

Motherhood took my body on a journey. It’s definitely not the same that it was before. I was a size 16 before I got pregnant, a size 20 after, and I’m a size 4/6 now. I’ve got scars, stretch, and sag from radical weight loss and six different pregnancies. My body tells my story, the path that I’ve traveled, and I am proud of it all.

I love PinkBlush because they hold mothers in high regard. They accommodate sizes 2-20, their tops and dresses are breastfeeding friendly, and they carry standard and plus sized maternity. Their clothing is comfortable and flattering on all shapes and sizes.

My body has traversed a lot of terrain during my six short years of motherhood. The highest of highs and the lowest of lows. As mothers it’s easy to forget about how important it is to take care of ourselves when we’re so wrapped up in caring for everyone else.

I’ve always been a lover of fashion. After I became a mother it was easy to let a lot of the things I loved fall by the wayside.

My Aunt Kim always says, “As women we put our needs last, but that in reality we are putting everyone else last too, because we can’t properly take care of our people if we feel so bad!”

Figuring out how to navigate being a mother, wife, and woman all at the same time has been a lesson in juggling. I’ve gone years where I lived in long nightgowns and pj’s. Gone days and days without showering because I didn’t have anyone to watch the kids, and survived on leftover pizza and ice cream.

I was putting myself last.

In January I made the choice, it was time to choose myself. That time spent investing in things that I love is time well spent.

Little things like taking the extra time in the morning to put on a little makeup and wear something nice make me feel so much better. Even if no one else sees it, it makes me feel good about myself.

PinkBlush is a company I’ve loved for a long time. Their clothing makes me feel beautiful no matter what size I am. The dress in these photographs is their teal floral wrap dress. The material is silky, soft, and lightweight. Which as a breastfeeding mama, I appreciate. Their wrap dresses come with a sash to define your waistline. It can be tied on the side, in the front, or back.

Their clothing is modest and easy to breastfeed in. I am able to nurse my little so discreetly most would never know that’s what we’re doing!

Clothing fits true to size.

I am 5’3, 32/34DD, size 4/6.

I ordered a size small, which is what I normally wear in shirts and dresses, and it fit perfectly.

PinkBlush has generously offered to giveaway a $75 gift card to one of my subscribers! Which I am so excited about because I know y’all are going to love their stuff just as much as I do!
